Conan versioning supports Semantic Versioning 2.0 but some packages don't follow this specification.
Conan implements python-node-semver.
Read the Conan docs about version ranges for more information.

Would e.g. accept 2.0.0-pre.1 as match |

Would only accept correct Semantic Versioning strings. E.g. version 1.2.3.4 would not be accepted |

Both options can be used for the same version range |
